How Wall to Wall Group’s GDPR work
Each company within the group is a personal data controller and is responsible for its own processing. Wall to Wall Group has produced a privacy policy valid for the parent company that provides guidance and should be viewed as the baseline requirements for all subsidiaries. Some subsidiaries may be more involved in processing data than Wall to Wall Group, and may process a different type of data, meaning they need a different and/or more extensive policy.
Data that may be processed
Wall to Wall Group works in accordance with the principle of data minimization, and so only collects the personal data that is necessary to run its business or comply with statutory requirements.
The purpose of processing personal data
The purpose of processing personal data must be defined in each individual case. Personal data must not be processed without a clearly stated purpose.
Legal basis for processing personal data
In each individual case, Wall to Wall Group defines the legal basis for data processing.
Timeperiod for processing and storage
Personal data is only processed or stored for as long as there is a legitimate purpose to do so, or where, for example, there are legal requirements to store such data.
Processing by a third party or transfer of personal data
Personal data may be transferred to personal data processors, who act as subcontractors to us. Appropriate agreements are drawn up, and we endeavour to ensure that data is not transferred to countries outside the EU or EEA.
Your rights as a private individual
You are entitled to know what data we process about you (a register extract), or request that your data be erased in accordance with GDPR.
